Message from the presidente

　　University has its own life, for it has its own spirit.
　　The spirit of the university lies in researching and innovation.
　　It is its own spirit that makes university prosperous.
　　Its prosperity lies in serving the society by creative ideas from analyzing the reality or discovering the future world through researching to serve the society and people.
　　Where there is innovation, there is development. Where there is development, there is a precious chance for us to make a great progress. Consistent studying and continuous creating are two crucial ways for university to play a leading role in many fields, for we are now living in an age fully filled with competitiveness. Since the birth of Wenshan Teachers’ College twenty-two years ago, we have been holding onto such a belief.
　　Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Nationalities Autonomous Prefecture, locating in the southeast of Yunnan Province, China, is blessed with a diversity of natural resources and ethnic custom.
　　We have greatly benefited and will always benefit from this prosperous place. Those years, we, by making a good use of the abundant local natural resources and unique ethnic culture here, have been doing a lot of scientific and cultural researches which are good for both the society and people, and have obtained many significant achievements.
